Our missions ministries flow from our worship of the One True God. The goal of our missions is to exalt Christ by sharing His love, making Him known, leading people to a saving knowledge of Him, and ultimately bringing all to worship Him.

Missions

  • Coffee and Donut Drive-Thru — A couple of times of year we give out free coffee and donuts to those who drive by the church property on their way to school or work. Our aim is to meet our neighbors, serve them in a practical way, and engage them in gospel conversations.
  • Cooperative Program — One of the ways we are on mission as a church is by participating in the Southern Baptist Convention by giving to the Cooperative Program. This allows us to contribute to several entities that are promoting the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. This includes various ministries at the state level as well as the International Mission Board, North American Mission Board, six Southern Baptist Seminaries, and the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission.
  • Brotherhood – Brotherhood is a men’s misison group. Open to all boys and men of the church. Meets on the third Tuesday of every month at the Brotherhood Community House (across the intersection from the cemetery) to study God’s Word together and plan various mission projects. Brotherhood plans and leads the annual Baptist Men’s Day the last Sunday in January and hosts multiple Men’s Breakfasts throughout the year.
  • WMU (Women’s Missionary Union) – The purpose of WMU is to “challenge individuals and churches to carry out the Great Commission.” In addition, “WMU challenges Christian believers to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God.” We pray, learn, support, and equip our members to engage with missions. This involves organizing special events, promoting mission offerings, and having discussions on how to engage with our neighbors and the nations.
