Recently I had a church member ask me about strategies for Scripture memorization. My short answer was that it simply took dedication and discipline. I also suggested a Bible memorization program such as Fighter Verses. This is a good program for memorizing a large number of verses scattered throughout the Bible. Additionally, if you are interested in memorizing larger sections of the Bible, such as entire chapters or books, then Andy Davis’ method is great.
